Humble beginnings ...

Hey there! Welcome to the humble beginnings of my blogging  exploits. I'm about to embark upon my 4th year of successfully running Mursion (an SF-based Virtual Reality startup) with my Co-Founder, mentor, and friend Mark Atkinson. 

The journey has metaphorically been an incredible roller-coaster ride, with thrills and spills along the way and a chance for me to learn, grow and be better as an individual (whether I've taken those chances or not is a different story!). This blog is my attempt at being able to share my insights into everything I've learnt (and continue to learn) along the way.

In no particular order, I'm hoping to blog about my continuing encounters with Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, transitioning from Academia to Entrepreneurship, & all the fun I have while enjoying life with my lovely wife Lisa, our Corgeranian pup Bella, and all our fantastic friends and family!

Bella is reminding me that it's 5pm (it's 5:02pm) and she is starving. With that, ​I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I hope to enjoy writing it !
